Satirical comedy ‘Tere Bin Ladin’ sensation Ali Zafar is an all rounder artist. A singer by profession, he made his debut as an actor with Abhishek Sharma’s comic flick on Osama Bin Ladin. But Ali has another dimension to his creative brain. He is also a talented painter. And the cute looking multi -talented artist desires to immortalize Katrina Kaif on canvas, Zee News reported.

Ali, who is working with the hottie in Yash Raj’s ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ is smitten by Kat’s beauty. Apparently, while shooting for the film, someone from the crew suggested him to do a portrait of Katrina and Ali spontaneously agreed. Narrating the episode to reporters of a leading daily, a source close to the actor said, “Ali Zafar is an artist to the core. Be it acting, singing or painting. So, recently someone suggested Ali to paint Katrina, the actor spotted a smile in agreement and might actually go ahead to do it. But, no one knows how soon will that be.”

The actor has created a niche for himself in the Indian film industry post the success of ‘Tere Bin Laden’. And buzz has it that he might end up a substantial role in ‘Dhoom 3’. Katrina Kaif wants to go under the knife for a role

To get under the skin of her character in Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Seeta aur Geeta’, Katrina Kaif wants to get tips from Hema Malini on the techniques of hurling knives at her co-stars in the remake.
In the original the veteran actress had played a knife-throwing gypsy street performer.

Katrina has said that she would like to do all the daring acts that Hema Malini did in the original.

Talking to a news daily, Katrina said, “Hemaji seems to have so much fun playing Geeta! I want to do all the daring stuff she did, including climbing the ceiling-fan in the police station. But what I’m especially fascinated by are the knives.”

When Hema heard that Kat wants tips for throwing knives, the veteran actress was sporting enough and said “Sure, why not? I think Katrina would make a wonderful Geeta in ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’. But let me warn her it wasn’t easy for me to do all the stunts and running around. To play Geeta I needed very high energy levels. As for the knife-throwing scenes they were made somewhat easy because I had played a knife-throwing gypsy girl in my very first Hindi film, ‘Sapnon Ka Saudagar’. It was great fun and I’m sure Katrina would have fun doing the role.”

As Geeta, Katrina will have to play a knife-throwing gypsy street-performer, a street-side entertainment that was popular years ago.

In the original Dharmendra played the lead opposite Geeta, and the duo went on to become one of the most popular on and off screen pair in the Hindi film industry. Given such a history, our ‘Sheila’ aka Katrina would also want a certain Mr Kapoor to be paired opposite her to recreate similar magic on screen. What say Kat?

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is apparently very miffed with newbie Sonakshi Sinha. No, it has nothing to do with the young star’s close proximity to ‘good friend’ and actor Salman Khan, who’s known to promote his new find big time. Instead, the actor is upset with reports that claim Sonakshi is set to fill in Katrina’s shoes, not only in films but also when it comes to brand endorsements.

According to the buzz, Sinha's camp is spreading word of her being the next Kaif, after Sinha replaced the star for a certain brand’s endorsement. And while insiders don’t deny that Sinha has indeed bagged the brand, they also point out that Kaif had ended her contract with the brand in question over a year ago.

“Rumours of Sonakshi replacing Katrina are rubbish. The fact is that the brand they are talking about was signed by Katrina in her initial days. The contract expired and Katrina frankly doesn’t care about who bags it now. But she is upset about Sonakshi going about town talking about replacing her,” revealed a source.

Those close to Kaif cannot fathom how an actress, who is only one film old can be called the next Kaif. “Katrina is leagues ahead of Sonakshi in terms of box office standing. But by pitching herself alongside Katrina, Sonakshi is trying to catapult herself in the number game,” said another source.

Interestingly, Sinha has also been paired with actor Akshay Kumar in two films, even though it is known that Akshay-Katrina have been a hit pair on screen. Point that out and sources insist that what needs to be considered here are Kaif's dates and availability.

“Besides Katrina has progressed to doing performance-oriented roles. There are certain roles she would have done as a newcomer, but may not want to do them at this stage in her career,” they explain.Apparently neither Kaif, nor Sinha have kept their opinions about each other a secret. We wonder if Salman Khan will play mediator between his leading ladies here.

It even became the preferred choice of colour for sarees worn by both Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who turned up the heat in song and dance sequences in their films 3 Idiots and De Dana Dan respectively.

Speaking about the look, designer Falguni said, "Katrina's outfit has an ultra-feminine feel to it. Te entire look has oodles of oomph and somewhere it also reflects her own style statement, which is sensuous but not overtly sexy". Designer Shane feels,

"The dress is long, flowy, and perfectly complements Katrina's body type. The colour is inspired by ripe mangoes that also highlights her beautiful skin. Jewellery was kept to a minimum."

Katrina Kaif want have kids before 33

Bollywood’s Queen bee Katrina Kaif aka `Sheila’ wants to settle down and have kids by the time she is 33. In the latest issue of a popular men’s magazine, the hottie flaunts her curves on the cover page and opens up about her personal life as she speaks about her nomadic childhood amongst other saucy details.

The actress, who is often quizzed about her marriage plans, stated that she doesn’t know if she would get married in the next two years. However, she is pretty sure about the time she wants to have kids.

“I think by the time I`m around 33, I should be having kids. But you can`t plan it. I do want to get married, but do I want to have a child grow up without a father? No. I think you need more security” said the pretty actress in her interview.

Born in Hong Kong, Katrina left with her British mother Suzanne Turquotte, a veteran NGO activist, when she was two or three, spending time in France and Japan and then Hawaii by the age of 11, before arriving in London at 13.

"I have a lot of feelings of being lost and shy and isolated. I felt alien. It makes you feel unsettled in your mind. You crave somewhere to settle," she added.

The stunning lass, who has lost oodles of weight and is looking fitter than before, says that working in films is a tricky business.

Well here’s hoping Kat finds her soul-mate much before she hits 30.
